They were signed to fight, but Quartey pulled out, resulting in a lawsuit.

I ran into him at Atlantic City after his fight with Ricardo Torres and he stopped talked and took pic's with me and my wife. Extremely humble guy....I guys we are all human and if you catch someone at the wrong or right moment those impressions stick with you.

He's definitely overrated, in the same way Hatton was.

I can agree with that. He is just outside being equal to the all time best fighters at Welter.

I don't actually dream about boxing...

However, I don't believe that it is a stretch to say that Cotto is only one step down from the all time best in that division. Is he on the level of Hearns, Leornard, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Whitaker, Robinson or Grifith (just to name a few)? No, these guys are some of the best the division has seen. But he isn't far removed.

Look at the Pac fight, Cotto kept it pretty interesting for the first half; I think that is how it would go down with most of the ATGs, he would have his moments and keep the fights interesting, but lose against most of them.

Cotto is a very good fighter, people are trying to bring him down in this topic; but the truth is people will remember Cotto as a great fighter.

Could've ko'd Quartey yes but Quartey would've presented problems for him. I think it would've been a better fight than Dlh-Quartey.
