I also take into account that Hatton is best at 140, and Cotto at 147...as one said....they are not made for eachother:patsch

my first impressions are that cotto is a little too much for hatton at 147.although he has moved up from 140 cotto looks a bit of a monster at 147.i certainly wouldn't write hatton off but i just think most things hatton has, cotto has a little bit more.power and strength the things hatton normally has an advantage in at 140 he has to concede to cotto at 147.one big thing hatton has over cotto is workrate and if ricky could somehow evade enough of cotto's strength sapping punches which could slow him down, then he could conceivably pull it off over the stretch.we also must remember that when hatton admitedly not at his best went up against a huge but limited junior welter in urango,he largely stayed on the outside and boxed him as he felt he couldn't out muscle urango.what will he do with cotto?i would take cotto with a stoppage some time after the 8th.

That's right. Whatever the hatton/mayweather result I think hatton will go back to his normal weight of 140. Cotto is simply too big
