Cotto: It was my duty to finish the fight!

cotto has heart and is a professional nobody has ever doubted that.

 

i like cotto and hes got heart, but he did not win that fight. That being said (over and over by me and countless others), there is one thing i would like to mention. After watching 2 of plaster margarito's victims fight after the plaster shots, i believe we can all safely say margo was cheating in those fights. Cintron and cotto, besides the margo fight, showed not to be as vulnerable. There is no doubt margo was cheating in those fights, and probably all of his others. The fact clottey fought him, and almost won one handed, under those circumstances shows that mother****ers heart.

 

Yes, but what about for Paul Williams, and every other fighter that hadn't lost a step since fighting Margarito? Yes, Margarito is a filthy cheat, but Cotto not looking great proves NOTHING in regards to whether he cheated in that fight.

 

So this guy gets a scratch and he immediately thinks about quitting? I just think that he's sayin some stupid **** b.c. he was bleeding heavily in the Judah fight and he knocked him out... Cotto finishes the fights for the same reason all others do - to win and make more money in his next fight!

Way of putting it, but he wouldn't want the fight to be stopped b.c. it was bothering his vision. Rocky Graziano had his nose hanging on in a fight. Holyfield had both his ears bitten and he would fight that maniac a third time. I just said that he's not fighting on just for the fans... He doesn't need to say he has heart, we know he has but so did Clottey and a whole lot of other guys in the business.

 

The cut in the Judah fight was nothing like the Clottey fight. Clotteys head inflicted way more damage.

 

1 - It was split, not hanging off. And it was Rocky Marciano, not Graziano.
2 - He had one ear bitten, not two. And he fought Tyson twice, not 3 times.

 

the man is a true warrior, lets all hope that cut was the cause of a performance that showed a lot of weakness's.....

 

but theres also manny others that chose the easy way out,Guerrero did it some months ago in front of his hometown fans and his cut wasnt half as bad as Cotto's.

2 - Holyfield had his ears bitten twice in that fight and he said recently that he would fight Tyson a 3rd time now so much was the money he made in the other two fights.

I wanted clottey to win, but i must admit cotto did win the fight just about!!!!!!!

clottey could have had the edge in the 2nd half of the fight as cotto was on the back foot... but he didnt deliver!

all these clottey fans need to stop crying!!! cotto won fair and square!!! clottey is even shitter because cotto had a massive cut and he still couldnt beat him

 

Glad to know it was his duty to finish the fight, thought he might have other plans.
