Why you bringing up ancient history? That was before got himself a real trainer. Cottos footwork would allow him to jab Goloki face off and set up his left hook to the body that I noticed Golokini doesnt like. Cotto ko 10 after a severe schooling

 

Im 100% Cotto fan to the fullest but... this fight is no bueno for Cotto. While I do think Cotto's superior boxing ability would win him most of the early rounds he does have a tendency to fade. Now he has gotten alot better with Diaz in his corner but I dont think he would be able to outbox GGG for 12 straight rounds. I think GGG would start landing pretty well around the 5th round and sadly he would take Cotto out before the 9th. Hate to say it but GGG by late stoppage... No disrespect to Cotto either he is just not at a point in his life to take on a guy so much bigger and stronger like GGG

cotto is a warrior, great fighter, multiple world champion, fearless, fought everyone....
but quit being a mindless fan boy. its no dishonor to be KTFO by a bigger stonger guy. cotto wouldnt last 7 or 8 rounds at best.....he would hear a 10 count for the first time

:-( Youre underestimating Cottos ability to adapt. Cottos fought everyone and only lost to accused cheats and Mayweather. Everyone loses to Mayweather but Cotto had his nose all bloody imagine what he'll do to Golokis.

 

Cotto is a great fighter but he does have some flaws which is also his stamina and his chin isn't that great.

Don Diaz already took care of the stamina problems. Cotto wasnt really training before Diaz came around. Now hes running in sand and Diaz monitors his heart beat with some high tech gear. Imagine what Cottos going to look like with a few more training camps under Don Diaz :yikes

 

Golovkin would be Cotto's worst Nightmare,Cotto should get in the line with thos other fighters avoiding golovkin.!!!!
