Cotto/Jennings + Pavlik/Rubio: Round By Round

I love the change of attitude. Much different from the Gomez fight and the first half of Margarito fight.

Jennings didn't fight good, don't listen to anyone in this thread. Kid was out-gunned, out-skilled, and out boxed. The first time that Jennings actually really traded with Cotto he got caught with the left that wobbled him back, then Cotto landed the body shot to put him down.

Jennings had nothing but running and a pitty-pat stay away from me jab... which he landed at an awesome 8% or so rate.

 

Good fight for Cotto. It was nice to see that the beating from AM didnt take that much out of him as a boxer.

 

Cotto deserved an easy night like this one. Now its up to Pavlik to top this.

 

If Jennings fought any other way he would of been Ko'd sooner, there was no other way to how Jennings could of fought this fight.

Cotto is a just in a higher class.

 

Nothing against Jennings though, he's just not good enough to be in the ring with an elite fighter.. not many guys are.

Good confidence fight for Cotto, but it didn't show us anything we didn't know about him before. Jennings doesn't crack, so Cotto never was worried about getting hit.

 

cotto earned tonight ... look at his resume since 04 leading up .. this has been one of his only easy fights... and for those of you about to snap and scream gomez re-read...ONE of his only easy fights ... ONE of them .. so save your hate mail
