I really enjoy watching Cotto events but man,it's becoming more evident he is becoming a diva.Top Rank has done wonders for him and this is how Cotto repays them.Unreal.There must be more to this story than meets the eye.

What Top Rank did for Cotto is irrelevant. They were paid for their services so he doesn't owe them anything. This is business and if Cotto doesn't feel he's being valued properly then he's entitled to take his "product" elsewhere.

If company A took care of me for 10 years, made me district manager at 100k/yr. Then company B comes along and offers me 200k for the exact same job, what do you think I'd do?

Seeing that he wants to get into music and event promotion in PR not just boxing , this deal makes more sense. That might actually work out for him, if he can get a musician from Jay-Z stable down to PR a couple times a year.

Seems like Cotto trying to figure out how to stay busy after boxing, and probably wants a stable company where he can employ family members and such.

Cotto signing with Roc is not more or less indicative of him wanting to duck GGG. On that front, its a neutral thing. Roc is perfectly able to work with K2 and HBO freely, signing with them just reduces chances of Cotto facing Bradley or Rios, and eliminates chances of facing a Haymon guy.

Cotto will duck GGG or not solely based on whether Roach tells him privately whether he thinks he can beat him or not. Which he will obviously tell Cotto to steer clear... but it wont be because of Roc. TR didnt want to make the GGG fight at all. Roc would be thrilled to have Cotto PPV in June instead of fighting K9.
