I had it 114 - 113 Clottey. Could have gone either way. Clottey seemed to complain a bit to much.Cottos cut man did a really good job.
in order for Clottey to get a 9-9 round he would had to have dominated the round. but since the round was fairly close you have to score it 10-8 its basic scoring in fights. am sure all three judges had it the same.
it doesnt matter you dumb **** if clottey was winning a round a knockdown automaticley gives cotto the round and puts u down a point for clottey there for its 10-8 damn u dont know **** about boxing
I had it 114-113 Clottey, I think Clottey dominated the rounds he won and Cotto managed to eek some rounds because of Clottey's lack of work. Clottey must have been really freaked out that a jab could knock him down because he seemed gunshy at times. I still had him winning the fight. I don't know if Cotto is a different guy now, but his aura of invincibility is completely gone. He used to seem like an unstoppable machine, but now I'm not sure I'd favor him over Mayweather or perhaps even Pacquiao.
so theres never been a 10-9 or a 9-9 round before???atsch dumb Ass, learn about boxing before you come in here and post.
I had it the same but it could've gone either way. but if you have anything else then a 114-113 for either guy then you dont know what the hell you doing. and Cotto does have a great cutman
Yes. Lampley wailing away about the fight needing to be stopped to save Cotto's eye was a touch overdramatic.
wow im just surprise how people hate on cotto... this guy is humble and has all the skills and not to mention fighting the top, which many are avoiding... he could've easily taking the easy way out , but continue to fight a smart fight with one eye basically... what more can you ask... and hes not that good... it takes a lot of skills for what he goes through and not only that becoming victorious... people should really stop being bias and appreciate fighters like cotto...
He's a step below guys like Mayweather, Mosley or Margarito but he's still a decent fighter. Too big for Pacquiao though. There are limits to HOW far guys can move up and still have enough strength to beat even lesser opponents.
Barely though. Some people had it a draw, some had Mosley winning. Let's not forget it was Cotto running away from Mosley during the 2nd half of that fight.. just like Cotto ran from Margo in the 2nd half of their fight.. or Cotto running from Clottey during the 2nd half last night.....
I think a greater number of people are overestimating Cotto, and underestimating the psychological damage he suffered at the hands of Margo. :smoke
