    lets be honest guys Mayweather used to be slammed 4 it but Cotto really did just alll nite, i really believe if it wasnt 4 Pacquiao damage of margarito eye then cotto would have lost late again cos from round 8 he was breathing very heavily and he had significant marks on his face more than Margarito and remember it was jab not a hook that closed tony eye.

    cotto made adjustments and boxed beautifully. give credit to where it's due. he was cleanly up in the scorecards before the fight was stopped anyway regardless of the damage to the eye.

    JMM didnt "run" from pac he outboxed him

    Cotto didnt "run" from Margarito he outboxed him

    He danced circles around him while hitting him, if you want to see running watch Dirrell against Froch.

    inoe mate and i dont complain on it but ur fight a guys whos last 2 fights he beeen brutally ko has a bust eye which was closed 4 half the fight was in his home venue and he still procedded to run Marquez engaged much more than cotto he was exchanging no holding on like cotto

    you guys are so drugged of hbo bs to think what i am saying logically. Cotto used to be a great fighter i think his decline will be exposed in his next fight tbh

    1. Didn't watch the HBO feed. 2. didnt have the sound on. 3. Cotto just did what the sport is called. BOXING. He out BOXED Margo all night. But the FACT is tonight he beat Margo with his brains and skills.

    But his gameplan is centered on Marg's eye. That eye is now so sensitive that by round 3, a glancing jab damaged it and by round 6, it was shut. This round is where Marg should takeover.

    not that much boxing skill and brain was needed avoid margarito hiold him and beat on the eye most welterweights would have easily have done it people are acting cotto victory was so amazing

    1. Never said it was Amazing..said it was smart. 2. Many fighters over the years act as if they are going to war only to counter and fight smart. That is what Cotto did. 3. Margo was damaged goods going into the fight. I said to friends on FB and Twitter that Cotto would win via going after the eye. And that is what he did. Is it Amazing? NO. Is it Smart? Yes. If you send your fighter in a fight with damage you know for sure that the other fighter is going to go after it. I.E Smart. It's been done in the early years of Combat sports untill now. And it will go on untill Boxing and other Combat sports are no longer around.
