Cotto knows that Margarito had the better night.

He knows without a doubt that he will kick Margie's

    ASS the next fight.

LMAO!!!...I love Cotto but nuthuggery has blinded you my friend....and obviously he can't take Margairto's punch and pressure over twelve rounds. If it was a ten rounder, Cotto could probably win on points but 12...the outcome will always be the same.

I would like to see a rematch where Cotto doesn't have a gameplan made up by a 5 year old girl.

Circling the entire outside of the ring against the ropes from the entire get go was one of the worst gameplans I have seen in quite some time...especially when the blueprint was already laid out by P. Williams. Genius!

Because Bob Arum won't let it happen this early.
He said openly that Cotto - Margarito II won't happen anytime soon

I wonder what Cotto makes of that though?

I mean fighters tend to feel one of two things - "I can beat that ****ing guy, get him for me". Or "not doing that again for less than $18m. Which way does Cotto feel, do you think?

Cotto supposedly left the arena asking for a rematch, congratulating Margarito on his win. :think

So really, what makes you the judge?

I say he's a fighter, fighters of this level tend to not fear anything.. hell, Cintron went up there against Margarito after being on the receiving end for the entire first fight.. why wouldn't Cotto?

He's an elite fighter, he ain't exactly the dude that will run in fear.. he will seek revenge, but if he does it within a year it will be way early and he may be punished even worse.

It may be primarily business, this putting off of the match. Cotto is not going to do better at 154 and if he loses to Margarito again...nowhere to go, really. He would be something of a paper champion if he held a different belt...and I think Margarito is far from unbeatable at the weight. If Margarito loses before Cotto takes him on again, he looks bad.

"Let's say we postpone...I step out someone else steps in and whips this chump, where does that leave me?" - Apollo Creed, and he was only wrong once. It cost him though.
