If manny hits cotto sweetly like he did hatton then fair enough but is cotto a hatton? Of course not. However what if cotto lands to the body first? Also if cotto allows PAC to keep hitting him them I see a tko ala margo style but I'm hoping cotto will not be stupid in his tactics for this fight. Oscar was drained and couldn't do anything = bad tactics hatton was open with no defence and wanted to brawl = bad tactics cotto must clinch and not dodge punches with him moving out the way otherwise he will gas out etc etc -> ko!
So Judah stepped off the gas when he had Miguel hurt? Well, if you got hit in the balls, you might have too! Cotto battered Zab eventually and he'll probably batter Pac and force Roach to stop the fight.
I hate direct questions but puts dodgy clause or exeptions to it.. Bla bla when did he ever knocked out a person excluding ODLH giving up and hatton's (, jmm's, morales, and all his other knock outs) coz they dont count.. i mean WTF?!?! Going back on topic. I think Pacquiao is too small for Cotto, his best shot is a win via SD.
It's unlikely he'll KO Cotto cold, but it wouldn't be extreme nuthugging to suggest that Pacquiao might just bombard Cotto with combinations continually for 5 rounds to the point where he's cut up and dazed, and the towel comes in. I can't see it happening though; Cotto is not Ricky Hatton. If Pacquiao stops Cotto, it will be a late mercy stoppage. Cotto is better defensively then both of Pacquiao's last two opponents; he ain't getting blown away like them. If there is to be a straight KO, it's Pacquiao that will be laid out on the ground.
I don't think Cotto was that severely "weight drained" and weak in the Corley fight at 140 because Cotto was still able to make 140 one and half year after that Corley fight... Cotto fought 4 more fights at 140 after Corley... .
Cotto does seem to struggle a little with really busy guys , If Cotto doesn't hurt Manny early ( Im sure he can just wether or not it happens ) Pac will do what Pac does and just pour it on and a stoppage that early is not only possible its almost likely. Then again Pac hasnt fought many ( or any ) as hard hitting as Cotto so you would think Cotto has enough power to keep Manny from getting into that frame of mind and if he does then I dont see a stoppage at any point.
