That was the best performance I've seen from him in years, maybe ever. His boxing, conditioning, everything was perfect. He's looking like an elite fighter again.

    Cotto - Mayweather anyone?

I feel the same way. Although he was on his bike a bit too much sometimes and allowing Margarito to get back into firing range
But nonetheless Cotto looked the ****, and his punches looked very, very crisp

^ I thought it was a impressive display of footwork. It wasnt like he was running, he constantly turning and keeping Margo off balance, similiar to what Pacquiao did. It was a brilliant gameplan.

Vintage Cotto. He looks very sharp and his conditioning is top notch.

The only guy around that division I can possibility see beating him is Lara.

Kirkland is too wide open and wouldn't stand a chance. Alvarez isn't on his level.

From that performance, Floyd surely dominates Margarito.

Floyd/Cotto been wanting this fight for some time.

I would certainly like to see a mayweather fight just to see how mayweather would approach cotto's style.

Cotto appears to be heading to 160 right now, to take on Chavez and that isn't a given; due to the size difference.

His footwork at times was impeccable, and in terms of punching, that's the best he's looked since the Judah fight.

He seemed to imitate Manny, very impressed. However, Floyd would destroy Cotto, probably KO him.

Yep, would be a wide UD and margarito would be hit a hell of a lot more.

I felt if he could turn the first 5 from the last time into 9 or 10 he would do it.Didn't think it would be the first 9!
A well deserved moment of glory for Cotto.
Still felt worried when I saw his son coming in with him.
    No kids at ringside!:nono

In the first fight,he was showing skills early that I never thought he had.
    Tonight they were even better!

I disagree to an extent. It was a battle of who was less shot. Cotto's explosiveness with his punches is not quite the same. His mobility was good, but at times he gave up too much ground with forcing Margo to earn it. He fought very well, though. A great performance considering the circumstance but he didn't look the best he ever looked. He looked solid, but against a fighter basically done at the elite level. I'm a huge fan of Cotto, and would love for him to get big money in a fight with Floyd but it wouldn't be a good fight. Floyd would handle him at this stage of his career.

*Edit'* His game-plan was rather similar than the first fight. He did use a bit more lateral motion and made sure not to stay on the ropes so he refined that plan. He did well to try to back Margo up and stand on the inside. Part of it is also Margo not putting on the same speed of pressure as in their first bout, however Cotto is a little slower himself too. I agree with Steward that he should've loaded up on shots with short leverage on the inside. He did well, though. Great performance, I'm happy for Cotto.
