Cotto looks like he could easily make 147

he should move back down for his own good.

 

It may be a mental thing. He is undefeated outside of the WW division. As a WW he took two horrendous beatings.

 

Its hard to tell from just looking at someone!

Plus draining down could affect his chin, and he didnt exactly have the best chin to begin with.

 

Yeah, Cotto is noticeably slower at super welterweight.

 

I don't think you can judge based on physical appearance alone. He was never a muscular looking guy to begin with. I think 154 is his best weight.

 

Of course he could still make 147. I think he just left for 154 to get in a different division and get some decent names. I mean he went there for the easy belt against foreman and well Mayorga is a fat ass and cant make anything else. At 147 everyone pretty much fought each other and there wasnt much left. Berto would probably be harder than foreman/mayorga was.

 

Its kind of hard to judge where margo is at. I mean lasting all 12 was better than I expected against Pac, outside of that he hasnt fought anyone else good in 2 years so its hard to judge where hes at.

I dont think that cotto is guaranteed a victory over him at this point. Especially if he puts on the weight well which he probably will do better than cotto

I think he's next fight should be at 147 against berto, this would be a great matchup and a good win for cotto will realy put him in the spotlight again.
