Mixed feelings on this fight, but was wondering if anyone knew if miguel was going to have a stay busy fight, if he goes straight to dec 3 without fighting since ricardo, is that a good idea

i wouldn't mind seeing him fight again beforehand

I thought it was strange he would sit out for so long. Hopefully we see Miguel in the ring three times this year.

I see a bloody Cotto in the future, with his wife and his kid crying again. Cotto just gets his so easy, and Margo is a busy fighter, not a good match for Cotto.

Cotto was incapable of hurting Margarito. Even if Margarito's punches have less weight without plaster, Cotto still won't rattle Margarito. I see a somewhat less bloody repeat of the first fight. But I'll be rooting for Cotto to prove me wrong.

At his age, maybe some time off could benefit him. Plus, what if he sufferred a deep cut or injuyr that would affect his performance against Margo? Or a loss?

Too much risk, too little reward to fight again.

yea i figure he thought he was going to fight tony in july, then sep, but since tony's injury kept pushing it back i guess they didn't come up with anything in the between time

if miguel won't run out of gas due to the plaster shots, then he can easily win a decision

Cotto doesnt need to to have this fight but hes going too. Man it sucks. Everybody knows Margarito cheated so Cotto feels like he HAS too fight Margarito to get him back. Its just not a great matchup for Cotto but Margarito still just isnt that good so Cotto should win on rounds or even get a KO from a body shot.

No tune-ups needed. He's good to go. He may lose, but ring rust won't be a factor for Cotto in this fight.

yes, but so didn't mosley in the beginning but we saw what happened late in the fight he couldn't absorb as much as he did in the beginning & in the cotto by round 6 he couldn't stay as busy as the 1st 6 rounds cause eventually the plaster slowed him down where he couldn't box and let his hands go because he became stationary but without plaster it'll be a whole different ring and feel
