Margarito's team also consists of Arum so who knows what they are up to ..But if Cotto picked up the phone and told the Bob Father I want the rematch im sure he will wait ..

I don't think Cotto needs a tune up since this was his first loss mentally I don't think he needs a booster like say a Ricky Hatton after his loss ..But either way as long as they get it done I don't care if he does fight a tune up in the mean time .

Listen ******, both guys were countering at different points OBVIOUSLY. :patsch

The point was Margarito was waiting on Cotto and he wasn't letting his hands go. Try watching the fight again from the first round and you'll get a lesson in continuity.

Hatton won't fight at Welterweight at all so he's totally out of the question and is set to fight Malignaggi at 140. A good confidence booster should be some top 10 guy or even Berto for the WBC title. All will be clear soon and I hope it's not an immediate Margarito rematch, that kind of silly approach can be career ending.

i would agree but these guys are the top of the class ..Its what makes these fighters into legends .But again im not against a tune up either as long as we get a rematch regardless .

If all goes good a rematch is very possible indeed, even though I would rather see Williams vs Margarito II till Cotto gets back on track.

Don't even bother to read my posts. You're too stupid, it wouldn't help.

That's what I'm waiting to know about judging by what Cotto decides to do next.

Margarito stops him again, this time probably a tad earlier, maybe around the 7th round.

I think cotto can win a decision in a rematch with Marg but he' want to be able to dance for 12 rds. If he can't Marg will maul him again.

Asuming that Cotto is still the same fighter as before I would expect to see a fight very much like the first one. Cotto wins the first 5-7 rounds with Margarito choping away at Cotto. If Margarito can catch up to Cotto like he did in the first fight than he will win by 10-12 round ko. If the fight goes to the scorecards I think Cotto will have won enough of the early rounds for a win.

Same result will occur once more. In regard to Cotto's training, If he would consider finding another trainer the only reason I could justify such is the family animosity involved that may yet intensify form the result of last Saturday. Otherwise, there's no reason to change what has worked and worked well for 32 fights. I can't imagine Cotto's loss was due to anything but the fact he finally ran into a tougher guy.
