Will Bob Arum let Margarito win if it goes to the score cards?

Causing an automatic rematch and more PPV money dished out of fight fans pockets.

Well, it's in Arums "financial" interest to keep Cotto undefeated. Margarito has proven to not be a huge draw, so it worries me that Margarito would get ripped off if it went to the cards.

I think its safe to say if the fight went to the scorecards it would be in Cotto's favor due to the fact that he would have most likely survived Margo's onslaught and Cotto was able to outbox him. If Margo was the winner Its more probable that he defeated Cotto via TKO/KO.

He has both fighters signed to contracts so I don't think so. It's really a win-win for him. And believe me after the offer he made to Mayweather many times he knows that's beating a dead horse. He isn't banking on Mayweather to pull through anyways.

I think he'll let the best man win. If anything the judges themselves might be swayed to score rounds for Cotto just because he's undefeated. We've seen it many times before noteably with Glen Johnson kinda guys getting robbed. Margarito kinda fits that bill.

Anyways you know if this is a damn good fight there will be a rematch.

True but in his last regular HBO fight. Margo had nearly a million more viewers for his fight than Cotto did in his.

I don't understand. Their respective last fights were fought on the same night, on the same channel.

I'll give you Mayorga-Forrest, but don't compare Margarito to the rest of those guys.

Yes and 1.8 million watched Margo fight Cintron. Once Cotto came on, the viewers dropped to a million.
