it goe's without saying that this is an awesome match-up. However for the millions viewing it as neutral and fans of the sweet science, what is the best outcome for the sport, a cotto w Marg w, big PPV numbers or just a brillient fight?

a 12 round close decision for Margarito....

if its close and tough Cotto's rep will go up with a loss whereas Margo's won't with a loss as he lost to Williams not long ago

then, there can be a rematch and maybe a trilogy which defines both fighters and this era of boxing so the nostalgia numpties can give modern fighters some respect instead of harping on about how any previoius generation fighter would whoop em

but any tough fought exciting result will be good for boxing and hopefully revitalise some interest and repair the damage done by the world awaits

The best outcome is that it's a hot ticket. It'll set up a rematch and possibly a third match.

Nobody else matters right now. Not at welter anyways. And when this is over the winner can go after Williams.

Fight of the year with the end comming by KO

If Cotto wins he can fight Delahoya in December

If Margarito wins there will be a huge Rematch

Things we don't want Premature stoppage/Bad Decision/Early end with Cut

im not sure going after williams is good for boxing.

toni would probably get pitty patted to a loss again

and cotto is too short to win either

so williams wins because of freakish height advantage. imo the sooner williams gets out of welter the better for the division.

I strongly believe Margarito can beat Williams. Although I admit this is Margarito's toughest fight.

Don't go for the knockout. He spent too much time loading up on one punch and walking Williams around the ring.

If he just throws to match Williams I see him coming out on top.

Do U Think A 2nd Paul Williams Fight Will Be Good For Margarito.. Paul Williams Will Be Even Better The 2nd Time Around.. Even If Margarito Starts Off Fast I Can See Paul Williams Applying More Power To Keep Margarito Off Him..

A rematch will be nothing like the first, someone would get blasted out very early.

The ape with the worst posts ever strikes back, haven't you been embarrassed enough times already? , or you want more? :deal

Mayweather doesn't need to wait for Cotto to be "damaged", as long as Cotto gets a major win then that fight will be more and more possible. If Cotto loses or wins in damaging fashion then Mayweather wouldn't even waste time for it. You aren't a 5 weight division champion with insane special skills if you "fear" other fighters, if he "fears" other fighters then he would be like you behind a computer typing nonsense instead of being a professional fighter. :hi: Now shove that up your ass and try to keep it in there.
