Cotto/margarito hbo face off

Fighting is hard enough as it is without resorting to loading your hands up. So **** Marg I hope Cotto gives him a flogging.

 

This scum should be banned for life, not for 1 year. Its a joke really and nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Cotto could have been killed that night, he may never even be the same fighter again because of that fight and the loaded wraps.

Even Freddie Roach said what Marg did was attempted Murder, he tried to kill Cotto in a boxing ring using Plaster of paris wraps. Whats funny is they then accept a fight with him and Cotto, Freddie was one of the boxing voices out there crying for a life time ban for both Marg and his trainer. Nazim also called for him to be jailed & Teddy Atlas also called for the licence of Marg to be taken away for ever if found proven of using loaded gloves. The commission are toothless tigers, 1 year? WTF then he gets to fight again and get big mega fights and make millions? its not right.. the guys a cheat and shouldnt be allowed to box ever again. Drug cheats in the olympics get life bans, what this guy did was worse than use drugs, he tried to use a brick in his glove to bash a bloke senceless in a sport that has strict control measures to ensure the saftey of both combatants. i despise this guy more than Danny Green lol

Cotto also needs to sack the guy or guys in his camp who were responsible for ensuring his opponent didnt use illegal wraps. Cottos people didnt do their jobs that night.

 

There's no proof he used loaded gloves against Cotto in their first fight........... although it doesn't look good given what happened in the Mosely fight :!:

Bob Arum has 5 other sites on hold in case NY tomorrow do refuse to host the fight.
Seems very likely they will sanction the fight from all who i have spoken with.
Boardwalk Hall in Jersey is on hold, as well as MGM Grand in Vegas.

 

What a ****ing disaster! You would have thought Arum would be shrewd enough to get Margo licensed prior to selling nearly 20K in tix at the Garden! To think I was very close to making the trip to NYC for this!

 

Margarito is a true villain of boxing, the history, the look, everything. I sometimes like to cheer for the bad guy.. I think that shows why Marg won the first time and why he'll win again, he will put it all on the line, fair enough to what Cotto is saying but he's basically admitting that he won't leave it all on the line. That's a guy who as Max pointed out is going to sit down and stay down if it gets to that point that it got to in the first fight.

You still going for Cotto mate ? I think Margo has him bottled up even though Cotto did run out of gas in the first fight I think Margo will still have his number , hope I'm wrong and Cotto batters him but I will be very surprised if he can do it mate .
