Cotto Margarito I--- BRICKS OR NO BRICKS??

They were his lucky pads.. He battered Cotto with those pads, he couldn't risk losing his 'magic touch'.

 

Any person thats not dick riding Margorito came to this conclusion...Kinda hard to prove but its not that hard to see...I seriously doubt that Mosley was his first fight on trying to load up.

Nobody from Cotto's camp to include Evangelista went to margs locker room for the handwraping, this has already been confirmed and if Im not mistaking margaritos wraps were already checked and signed by the commission at the time Brother Naz caught him at the mosley fight.

 

More like 90% possibility but if not because of Margarito's chin those bricks would be useless...

On their rematch this coming December, Margarito's chin is questionable because of the recent Orbital Injury from his previous fight

 

I say bricks. Cotto's face looked like a smashed melon after the fight, and I heard stories of internal issues such as blood seeping down Miguel's throat during the fight, etc.

However, stylistically I think Margarito would've edged the fight on points even without the cement. His chin would still be rock-solid, his workrate would still be through the roof, and Cotto still wouldn't have known how to hold or defend himself on the inside, so I think Margo could still have edged the entire second half of the fight and so sneaked it on the cards overall.
