Yeah, he had bricks hidden on his chin that day as Cotto couldn't even make him blink with his punches.

Bricks or no bricks this guy beats Cotto. You guys will see in the rematch.

 

I think Cottos has a face made of Putty. Hard punches just open it up. To use the extent of the damge of his face as an indication that Margo cheated, is loosing argument. Then Pack cheated, and any other boxer that has open a cut or bloodied his face.

To say Margo cheated against Cotto because he attempted to against Mosley has some merit, but I think because of NSAC rules, it would have been extremely difficult to pull off.

EVEN IF Margo did use "bricks" in his gloves, what did Cotto do to hurt him? Nothing. Cotto couldn't hurt him. Margo walk through every single punch. Did he pack his chin with brick?

Cotto can't fight going backwards. Cotto has bad mental stability. Once he see's his punches have no effect or he see's his own blood, he gets on his bicycle and back pedals.

That's what I've always thought.

There's no way he loads up for old man Mosley and fights clean against Cotto who was considered a bit of a monster at the time.

I cant honestly say he did for the Cotto fight but if I were to approach this from a logical standpoint...I dont think he just all of a sudden started using them for a fight he was the favorite in...IMO, I just dont that see that happening.

People say cheating is cheating...Thats right, but loading your gloves is a whole different ball game...No matter how much you stans try to neglect the obvious...Loading your gloves is not on the level of low blowing, headbutting, ect.

Yea but the question is can Margo hurt Cotto like that without the bricks. If Margo can't severely hurt Cotto then Cotto would be able to do his thing. Cotto taking all those punches would make his body and arms very heavy from having to take all those heavy hits to his guard and body thus taking away Cotto' ability to move or guard or have any real power in his punches. Now think about that and add plaster. Which may be one of the reasons why he allowed Margo to land 7 straight clean uppercuts as his body and arms were probably very heavy from the punches taken.

We will see if Margo has the power to break Cotto down like that without plaster.
