I personally think it has the most stories out of any other 24/7 I can remember. First of all, it is another chapter in one of the greatest rivalries in boxing history: Mexico vs. Puerto Rico. Second of all, it has an epic first fight as its baseline: a dramatic come from behind knock out victory by Margarito. Third, it has controversy written all over it as the hand wrapping incident grants both fighters redemption: Cotto has the urge to prove that the first fight was fought on unfair grounds while Margarito has the urge to prove that it wasn't by once again knocking out Cotto. Fourth, both fighters have gone through lows and are looking to turn it around: Cotto was badly beaten by Pacquiao and then lost one of the key figures in his team - his father. He also had a falling out with his former trainer, his uncle. Margarito, on the other hand, was badly beaten by Mosley, suspended from boxing for the hand wrapping incident, and carries a damaged eye from a beating sustained by Pacquiao on his return. Lastly, the fight can be seen as yet another example of good vs. evil - Cotto, in the former has a likable personality while Margarito, in the latter has been cast off as a cheater. All this been said, I don't think any other 24/7 has produced this much drama. Am I right boxing fans?

It was a good first show with some real emotion, definitely better then the boring as horse **** 24/7's involving Pacquiao and Roach.

For me, it was definitely the best episode since the first Oscar-Floyd one - which was in a world of its own due to how unprecedented it was. But kudos to HBO for this latest one. They played the emotional angle perfectly, and covered the first fight very well. Difficult to see where they'll got with the rest of the episodes, but I imagine they'll fall back into pilot mode and do the usual slow motion stuff with pretty scenery, etc. A shame. They would do well to touch up on the famous Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry.

I wonder if Miguel Cotto is going to take a knee in one of the 24/7 episodes?

    I loved it.

It's nice to see one without either Floyd or Pac, they can only recycle those two, so many times.

My fav 24/7 episode is between Episode 5 of Mayweather vs Ortiz and this one, for different reasons. This was a great, great episode.

I'm sorry because I was sceptical of this thread before watching the episode but it was superb.I was a big Margarito fan before Cotto and stuck by him for a long time after Mosley.I even picked AM in my prediction as long as he's not as shot as he may well be,but after 24/7 I hope Cotto does it.Always liked the guy anyway.
