Phil Lutton and Brad Walter must be the dumbest arsed pair of boxing writers ever.
Either that or they're on Circus Mundine's payroll.
They would be out of their depth reporting on Women's Netball.
    No disrespect to the girls.

Golovkin, No name, over inflated by esb muppets that if mundine actually fought him would change their story to "Mundine fights taxi driver Golovkin", and you know you would! Just cuz the anti mundine donkeys jump in and say Golovkin was great, doesnt make it true,

Mayweather, wont happen, but hey boxerstalk ****, every boxer!

Pavlik, actually dogged mundine earlier if u knew the facts

Hopkins, no theover 40 year olds are all for Green, after green beat briggs, its tarver, holyfield, hopkins tyson, ali, for the great green machine

Everyone wants to bag woods, woods creamed Kariz and the real deal Geale picks a fight with Kariz?

Can't just one of you parrots neck up for a change and stop talkin ****?

Do you think mundine even believes every thing he says? He once said he is working on flying? Work it out, its drama, its show?

    :patsch

I played 303 games of cricket, represented the competition etc, as a top order batsman....

As Steve Waugh only played 168 Tests - I want to know who to contact at the Australian cricket Hall of Fame for instatement.

Look forward to seeing you at the ATG dinner next year.

(I might add I also showed some promise at marbles and Brittish bulldog at primary school - meaning I could have been a fine allround sportsman if I hadn't had to concentrate on my cricket........................LOL)

Not sure if I'll be able to make it CHB, I remembered my other career as a AFL player where my debut is still talked about fondly by myself. My first four kicks were four goals* and it was no understatement to say I'm Hall of Fame Legend status worthy. Expecting a call for their dinner for next year at any moment.

*Found out at school on the Monday following that the team we beat by twenty goals (I finished with five) had played and lost to my mates team the week before. My mates team had nine players...half the required number of players and won by two points.

Indeed. I was offered to play Goalkeeper for SA state team, but turned it down. Who knows what heights I could have reached. Schwarzer eat your heart out!!!
Was doing the 100m dash in less than 12 secs on grass in 10th grade. God only knows whether Bolt would still be holding the record now had I continued...

i am not one of the people on here talking up Golovkin, on the contrary i have seen footage and was not overly impressed, which makes it even more pathetic that Mundine did not have the balls to fight him. you just keep adoring you hero while he tells us that he is the best ever and takes a fight with the 103 ranked jnr middle.. what a legend. hall of fame stuff!!

The newbie Mundine nuthugger has a point here.

Why waste time on no-names like Geale and Golovkin. When we should instead as a country be embracing the unique opportunity of seeing first-hand an all-conquering boxing talent like Miranda.

Exactly.:good Larry Merchant always tells Floyd Mayweather what he thinks. Surely there is at least 1 Aussie journo out there who has the balls to ask Anthony why he continually fights bums.

The ones that do are usually barred from his fights. When that happens they don't even bother turning up to his press conferences.

Its left to guys like Brad Wolter (invent a quote, the whole Gary Gurr episode?) or Danny Wiedler to 'report' instead.

Mundine's been a relatively big fish in a small pond for a long time now.

Not long ago the Oz media saw him as their only source of a newsworthy boxing story, so they pampered his every wish for fear of having their umbilical cord severed.

With the reemergence of Green and with Vic & Kats' local profiles growing, the media is now rightfully questioning team Mundine's stay-at-home, bully-boy approach.

It was obvious immediately after Green beat Roy Jones that sections of the Oz boxing media woke up and realized they could actually speak their mind again, and many of the Mundine articles since have rightfully been less than complimentary.

It will be interesting to see how the better Oz boxing writers go about describing the absolute lemon match-up that team Mundine have just announced.
