There was an article about this...after the Cotto vs Margarito 2, Assuming Cotto wins, he will fight Chaver Jr, then assuming Cotto wins that, Pacquiao vs Cotto 2 for Pacs 9th Title. That was Arums plan...

155 then? I dont mind catchweights in certain situations but this is stupid, cotto fought 2 times at 154 already he should make the fight at 154.

arent both light middleweights? And isnt Cotto a titled champion? And isnt this fight for multiple titles? This is aggravating....

There needs to be a rule about a current champion catchweighting & representing his title at his weightclass at the same time.... this is not right

Makes sense, evens the playing field. Margarito had bricks for the first fight, now he has to be weight drained for the 2nd one.

He should be counting his lucky stars that he is getting not one, but now two big paydays.

Don't you think Marquez deserves a WW title if he beats Pacquiao at 144?

The case with Ppacquiao is that he weighed 144 for his 154 pound title match.

I don't like a catch-weight for this fight, since Cotto has already fought at the full weight twice... do you guys think it will affect Margarito a lot? He seemed primed and ready to go against Pacquiao at 151.
