Cotto-Margarito Possibly To Be At Catchweight Of 150

Haven't read the thread yet.. but I'm assuming someone has blamed PAC for this?

 

Margarito is not even ranked at 154...but like i said before the catchweight is a possibility its not set in stone yet.

 

Surprisingly enough no one has mentioned the catchweight king until now

 

It's silly and if indeed they go through with it, this will really go against the absurd idea that Cotto is somehow clearly the best in the division. That said, I don't think I'll ever shed any tears about Margarito being unfairly disadvantaged.

I have no problem with this.

 

Margarito loses to Mosley his title at 147bls and is caught cheating. Then comes back to have a shitty peformance against practically an unknown. Then to continue the joke he has his biggest payday against Pac along with the chance to fight for a LMW TITLE (paper title or not). Now to top it off he gets another title shot at LMW after those back to back peformances?

Nice! Must be nice to be with Scumbag Arum. While other boxers deserve a chance like that, Margarito is handed it to him.

 

I think that in the eyes of Bob Arum fighters who go out there balls to the wall and give it their all to give a good show to the fans deserve 2nd, 3rd, or 4th chances. If there's one thing Arum has been consistant in saying throughout the years it's that "Fans want to see a war" and that's where Margo comes in.

 

So the Ricans will say Cotto was dehydrated at 145 for the Pac fight but now say Margarito deserves this because he cheated even though there has never been any proof specially since Cottos trainer watched Margarito get wrapped and he said he didnt see anything suspicious. You guys are ****ing idiots. Any weight any time Margarito beats Cotto based on styles.
The difference is Margarito can take anything Cotto dishes out while Cotto can not take what Margarito has to throw.
Just like Margarito went 12 with Pac pressuring him even though he was getting beaten post to post while Cotto resorted to running to last the 12 rounds but even that didnt work.

 

The fact that Cotto is a champ at 154 makes this pretty stupid, in my opinion.

I hate this catchweight bull****. The fight should be at 154 or no fight.

 

Who cares what weight the fight is at. It's a fight everyone wants to see and will get their monies worth. Boxing fans just have got to deal with the fact Catch weights are just as much a part of boxing as world championship fights. It's not the first or last time there will be catch weights. Just enjoy the fight that comes out of it.

 

cottos scared ass hell of Margarito. Margarito will make the knee bender quit faster this time.

 

The reason people make a big deal about the catch weight is because of the title at stake. If they want to make it at 150 for no title then feel free to do it without any backlash. Its fights like these that taint the boxing world.
