Two washed up tomato cans fighting to fill Arum's pockets.

What's next, Pacquiao vs Cotto 2 and then Pacquiao vs. JCC JR?

By that logic pacquiao is not to far from the tomato can shelf himself. but i guess there is a difference between tomato cans and arums favorite puppet:good

Margarito did not have an easy time making 150 against Pac, so I doubt he's the one asking for the catch weight, and Cotto has already fought twice at 154lbs with plans on moving up once again. To me it doesn't make sense, and although it's fair to ask for it, I think most people would agree it doesn't look right for Miguel to be asking for a catch weight.

Nobody knows if in fact Miguel has anything to do with this catchweight rumor, as far as I know, outside of the venue Miguel has not demanded anything else. The likely scenario here is that Arum is greasing the bearings for a pacquiao rematch. There is No confirmation as to weather the fight will be held at a catchweight yet. I never heard margarito complain about making 150 for the pacquiao fight and walked to the ring weighin 167lbs, Cotto weighted 154 in the ring against Mayorga. The weight minimum for JR MW is 148.

I truly hope this is coming from Arum and not Cotto. I haven't heard anything either, but Margarito doesn't need to say anything about making 150 for us to know it wasn't easy. He was lucky to continue his career in the states, even more so getting a shot at Pacquiao, I doubt he would ever express anything other than gratitute for the opportunity.

So Manny and Margarito fight was even more tainted esp. Antonio getting the fight for a 154 belt in a division in which he hasnt defeated anyone or even Manny???

Boxing is a business and its time for Cotto to get with the program just like Manny and Floyd have been. Margarito could easily make 150 esp. with the long rest he has been given. Some are saying this fight at 150 is a disadvantge for Margarito, but then Cotto himself wasnt even the biggest at 147. So Margarito is naturally the bigger guy and imagine at 154 the advantage. Margarito shouldnt have no say, lucky he is getting another big pay day.

It's been said and mention before, Arum has said it has been all false rumors and this fight is not what they are saying at 150. Did you guys really think Arum wants Cotto to have an easy night. He is hoping for a long, tough battle and then rushing a fight for the winner against Chavez Jr.

certain situation :huh like when pac man fights. both them fools should be fight at 154 no if ands or butts about it, and if you cant make the weight then you are in the wrong weight class.its really just that simple, no more made up weight classes for titles.that is wrong in more ways then one :-(
