Arum mentioned that early results suggest that it did 50% better than Cotto/Mosley's 350K so it should be over 500,000 PPV buys.
I would not even be surprised. After the fight I could not log into this place. It was insane. I'm sure it was all over the place as well. All the forums on here the last thread visited had Cotto Margarito in the title. It went over pretty big.
The thing with PPV numbers is that it only reflects the pre-fight thoughts and how big the "names" are. Of course this fight was seen as an excellent one beforehand, but the fact that it also turned out to be one is great but doesn't change PPV numbers. A fight with huge numbers like Mayweather-DLH turns out to be a mediocre fight, while this one turned out to be great. I like that, but there's never a guarantee. Barrera-Morales I was one of the finest of all time, and while the rematch wasn't bad, it wasn't even close to as good as the first one.
Wait for the numbers your just hoping from a haters standpoint it didnt do that well, even the thought of 350K is getting you to freak out, especially after you were clearly proven wrong about Margarito you ****ing hater.
