    Cotto is gonna need to train out of Puerto Rico to work on his stamina if he wants to beat Margarito.

    As a fan of Cotto I want to believe he can do things differently this time and win the rematch.

    But he really did fight a great fight, he was surely in the best shape of his life, Magarito was just better in the end. Cotto has had stamina issues for a while, some fighters just dont have the stamina of others. Look at Tszyu you wont find a harder trainer but he always got fatigued when fights went into the later rounds.

    I respect Cotto a lot for going for a rematch. He may well lose again but its these challenges that make a fighter and his legacy. He could go on till the end being no2 at welter, maybe even pick up another title or two but I think he would rather lose to Marga again trying to regain his pride and status then keep on winning in meaningless fights.

    Unless Cotto does something about his trainer and their relationship (replace him or kiss and make up) its gonna be the same but early ko by Marg.

    Cotto's got the skills but his team is not solid.

    his endurance was punched out of him, the guy is fit as a fiddle and dosent usually tire as bad as he did against marg.......funny how all the talk before the fight was about cotto's body punching when really it was margo's body work that in the end was the reason cotto was so tired and eventually lost.:bbb

    Cotto has some balls if he takes a rematch, I'll tell ya that much.

    Honestly I think Cotto has met his Iran Barkley...he can fight Margo 10 times but 9 of those times Margo would take him. Sad because I think another fight with Margarito might seriously debilitate Cotto's career.

    I cant see another fight against Margo doing him that much harm. He will still be the #2 or 3 welter and will prove that.

    I think it takes a yard of guts for him to take this fight after he was, to be honest, just beaten in the last one.

    I agree with a lot of this, the only diffrences i think cotto could do this time is to go to the boy a lot more, cotto didn't really hook to the body a great amount and was using flashy combos instead, if he attacks the body i can see him beating margo otherwise i agree it will be like last time

    One thing Cotto could do more (and I think this is where pride sort of comes into play) is clinch more whenever Margarito starts to get going on offense. I know it slows down the fight and is boring but it'll save him plenty in the long run. Clinch whenever Margarito get's going on offense, train your ass off for stamina and maintain a stable body attack and he probably wins the fight.

    Chances are he's too prideful and Margarito TKOs him again in the 11th or so again.

    Think about this... Is Clottey that indestructible and Cotto can't take notes from him? Is the gap that wide defence wise?

    Lack of enduarance doesnt make your face leak blood.
    Cotto holding more? What does that for him but make him much easier to hit on the inside.
    I think Cotto fans are thinking with their hearts not their heads. Cottos endurance had nothing to do with the Fact he couldnt take Margs shots nad Marg was in front of him the whole fight. And clinching will make things worse he doesnt want to fight in a phone booth with Margo that just sets the uppercut and body shots up

    Cotto = Cintron part deux
