Sooooo, Margarito is dropped into traps for the majority of the first half of the fight and manages to do some big damage to Cotto in 7 and then end matters in the 11th. For all those who came back (as nauseum) and said; "I told you so", get the feck outta here. Supposed you knew Douglas would win as well? Cotto was a frequency away from making some better adjustments and smoothing over a well executed, pot-shotting victory. Now as you all munch on the result we have Cotto being matched up with Hatton in a questionable fashion and Margarito matched against the greats. Flip the result and ya'll would be talking about how others could ***** slap Margo and how Cotto could out do them all. Now explain yourselves you fake-ass, vulture fans!
If the truth is lame then so be it, but it's says more about the fans than my analysis. Facts are facts. The general board is as uncompromising as it is unfair.
Didn't you see the fight? Margo utterly destroyed Cotto from start to finish and left no doubt he knocks out any WW in the history of the universe and also cleans out the division despite losing to Paul Williams already...
One of the scenarios we (the ones hu said 'told you so') was that Cotto would be dominating the early rounds (as so) and in the last quarter of the fight he will try to run away just like he did in the mosley fight (instead he tried to run away throughout the fight) and Margarito would catch up with him at one point and throw a flurry of punches and end the fight. (as so) and this was highly likely to happen in my opinion before the fight. and it came out to be true. hopefully tht has explained it
