    I’m sure you’ve read by now but the rematch of one of the best bouts of 2010 is a no-go after Humberto Soto has decided to pass on the rematch with Urbano Antillon. In the aftermath, it looks like Antillon will now face WBA lightweight titlist Brandon Rios on July 9th on Showtime.


    Cotto - Margarito will be pushed back until the fall, likely Sept. 17 in Las Vegas, Top Rank's Carl Moretti told ESPN.com. The reason for the move: Margarito isn't yet ready to resume sparring in time for a July fight because of the damage he suffered to his eye and cheek during the one-sided beatdown Manny Pacquiao gave him in November.



    Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer said he is beginning to plan a July 30 pay-per-view card with HBO. He is still talking to lightweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez about a contract extension, and if they make a deal, Schaefer said his first choice is to work with Main Events to finalize a fight between junior welterweight titlist Zab Judah and Marquez, who would move up in an attempt to become the first Mexican fighter to win a title in four weight classes. One of the undercard fights probably would be a junior lightweight bout between Golden Boy prospect Adrien Broner (20-0, 16 KOs) and Jason Litzau (28-2, 21 KOs).

    Mid/Late year is looking very nice so far.

    Hopefully Marquez knocks out Zab and we get a Morales-Marquez super fight.

    I like the sound of that July card for sure, Broner-Litzau I really would like to see, I also think the judah-jmm fight has better upside than JMM fighting Pac again, don't want to see that one, sounds like a possible very good night of boxing mid summer.

    I don't know about that for sure, JMM is even older than Morales, they both are certainly on their last few fights, could be a real war to watch, whoever comes out on top, I would like to see it.

    I just realized what i posted. If he is with GBP. What the hell. Now not only do we have to memorize 10 ABC organizations. We also have to memorize who fights for who to even make possible matchups. This is starting to become crap. I hate Arum....
