Both were big fights on paper. However, fights are fought in the ring.

BUT...in the ring it was shown that Froch vs Groves was a legitimate fight between two battle ready fighters.

Cotto vs Martinez was a farce. Segio should not have been in there and boxing fans were cheated into buying/following a fight that couldn't be competitive.

At least Froch vs Groves answered some questions. Froch can move on as clear victor, and best SMW behind the inactive, snooze-fest inducing Ward.

Cotto's victory has an asterix against it as everyone could clearly see Martinez's knees are toast, he couldn't plant his feet, and he kept falling over, even when not struck. On one of the knockdowns in the first round you see him grimace, he doesn't look stunned - it's obviously pain in the shot knees. Cotto winning causes further turmoil at MW as I very much doubt Miguel will fight who most people believe to be the man at that weight: GGG.

    Definitely.
Relative to both Cotto and Martinez, Groves is a no body with less than a third of either of their ring accomplishments.
