Flawed is flawed.. Cotto was knocked down twice and technically knocked out by Pacquiao. I can't recall Mayweather having Cotto wobbled or nearly being knocked out.
Not surprised at all. I always say Floyds punching power is underrated. The fact that he chooses to fight smarter doesn't mean the man can't hit. Same thing I thought about Macho Camacho in his prime

its no news to me, it is only obvious since mayweather is a naturally bigger boxer than pac. plus those punches are precise accurate. Pac sometimes throw sort of arm punches, not saying he doesn't hit hard but some opponents said pac's punches were like stinging punches. I've notice most of the guys pac fights seems like they have their energy zap right out of them, even marquez who I think despite winning in my book seems to slow on the late rounds letting pac take some close rounds(or seem close) to the general public because of more activity. I'm saying this because his punches sort of have this kind of effect rather than raw power that knocks most guys out cold like floyd ko victor. Floyd definitely hits harder than pac no doubt, even oscar, mosley, and hatton attest to that

There have been several fighter would fought both. Almost all say that Floyd hits harder. They have no reason to lie. Those who disagree have not experienced punches from Floyd & PAC.
I highly doubt Floyd hits harder, although Manny's shots are usually not seen coming, they supirse and stun his opponents. Mayweather is definetly more pin point accurate when it comes to landing blows, but Pacquiao certainly hits harder.
