I see alot of threads comparing the win of last night to the win of Pacquiao. I would say that last night was a far better version of Cotto that I've seen in awhile, Pacman fight included. Do I think the Cotto last night gets stopped by Pacquiao ? Of course. I would have it occur in the same round, it would be more competitive but the result ultimately the same. Now, to simplify things.. I do not believe that Pacquiao beating Cotto more decisively alters the outcome of Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Being fair, the same logic could be used in a common opponent Juan Manuel Marquez. Both have viable "weight issues" whether it was being drained or too heavy. The reality is the close fight last night, shows that anyone Pacman is beating.. Floyd can beat as well, albeit in a different method. I saw two great men, put on great performances. We should be commenting on that. Let's leave the other silly talk to the groupies.:bbb Good competitive fight, with a clear cut winner. Congrats Mayweather on your win and Congratulations to Cotto on a fine opponent, performance and fight to add to your resume!
