Here is the definition of stunned.

    1. Knock unconscious or into a dazed or semiconscious state.
    2. Astonish or shock (someone) so that they are temporarily unable to react.

Watch Mayweather's legs again. He shows a great, great poker face after taking that left hook virtually flush. Just because Mayweather never had to hold on and recovered fairly quickly (but didn't react straight away) doesn't mean he wasn't stunned.

Like I said, it took him a period of time to get his senses, reactions and defense back. He took clean shots afterward that he didn't take for the majority of the bout, all after he was stunned from that shot.

Likewise, Cotto was stunned from Mayweather's uppercuts in the 12th.

I think you might be smoking something. At the 2:05 mark of the 6th round was where Cotto caught Mayweather with a left power jab/straight that opened up Floyds nose more. He wasn't stunned, Mayweather simply nodded his head. Cotto proceeded to backpedal the rest of the round.

I swear ESB is like fantasy land sometimes.

I don't want to post video cause I'll get banned, but this is absolutely mind-blowingly bad analysis. It's almost like you were watching another fight. Are you sure you're not talking about Quintana vs Latimore?

I mean, I can see how you might be confused. Puerto rican guy fighting a black guy and all.

I might be smoking something? You're the one who thinks a left hook is a straight :think

Watch his legs. You don't need to defend everything about Mayweather you know. Cotto did not backpedal afterward. He landed punches whilst Mayweather's back hit the rope. They then went o the centre of the ring, both landed their own shots. Then Cotto landed some body shots as Mayweather's back hit the ropes again. Clearly seeing what you want to see there. :-(

What is the difference between a left jab and a left hook?

Did you not see my edit? I guess not. I was looking at 2:05 of the 6th round you mook. Not 2:05 of the video you posted.

Moving on. If you think that was stunned, then I get to say Cotto was stunned with a looping right @ 2:13 of the 6th round because it literally froze him in place.

If you agree then fine, if you don't, then you don't know wtf you're talking about.

Yeah, I'm the clown. You can't decipher simple instructions, yet I'm the clown. Clearly. You should probably go lick some windows now. :blurp No point debating anyway. You'll never change your stance. :conf

I dissagree....stunned was what Mosley had him...Cotto didn't have him like Mosley had him.

115-113 is more realistic .. Anyone scoring this 117-111 has no business scoring fights ..Im looking at some people's scoring and people are just giving rds 1 and 2 for Floyd when either of those rds could have went either way ..A clear win for Floyd but not domimant like Chad was over Hopkins ...

    No, not at all.

Like I said, you don't need to defend everything about the man, he's only human, he also doesn't know who you are.

Mayweather is my favourite active boxer. I'm not afraid to point out when I think he's hurt, or criticise him though.

Personally, I thought he got stunned, and did a ****ing great job of hiding it from the viewers, and more importantly...Cotto. :conf

But that's the thing, he took at good shot, didn't wobble, didn't drop his hands, nothing.

Plus, you're not answering my question. If you think that was stunned, then are you saying that Cotto was stunned when he completely froze up from a looping right seconds later?

If so, then we just got different definitions of the word.
