Any word on how many buys this fight did?? I'm thinking anything above 400 000 buys would be considered a big success. Hope it did well because it was a great fight and showed everything that is right about boxing.
Pretty good at this stage of Cotto's career. To compare him to Trinidad, at a similar stage in Tito's career, when he fought Whittaker in 1999, it wasn't even deemed PPV worthy and they barely put 12 000 in the Garden. Cotto is already a bigger draw than Tito was at the same point in their careers. A fight and win over DLH would probably put Cotto right up there with Tito in terms of fame and popularity.
