Whats the highest weight class you see cotto movin up to and bein successful??? For example, Pacquiao started at 106lbs, currently at 135 and maybe will make a quick jump to welterweight and it has worked for him so far. Can cotto find the same success in other divisions ???

Cotto cant go past welter. He cant go any lower or any highger. His height wont allow him to, plus he's not as athletic and gifted as pacman and pbf to do that. He'll be a welter until he retires or until boxing retires him.

Chin won't hold up, Power will not be as effective. I think Cotto is at his ideal weight atm.

147 is his weight. He already lacks size at this weight, I can't imagine at 154 or higher. The day that he can't make 147 or there're no fights at 147, it's time to hang them up.

3 years ago he was weighing in nearly at MW 160 pounds fightnight. I wonder how long it will be before he can't make 147 anymore.

I think eventually he will have to go to 154 and settle there.

I think he could easily do Lt W and possibly middleweight depending on the matchup. The light w. group is pretty terrible and I don't see the Latin Snake beating Cotto. And all of the sudden the mw is weak. I wouldn't count Cotto out as long as he doesn't have any more idiotic gameplans.

His height is going to hold him back. His fighting style will never allow him to be affective against guys at 154. He doesnt have the right kinda style to outbox guys bigger than him.

At 154 he still might be able to make some noise since it's such a weak divison. No real big punchers there either.

Pac started fighting pro before he actually developed as a man - rather than boy.

Demographics dictate what age guys turn pro and genetics dictate how early people fill out - people from the far east fill out much later, therefore as fighters they are able to compete in more weight classes. If Pac was British or American, he would have been considered a boy at the time he won the 112 title and would never have got the chance.

He'd have to deal with Mora, Forrest, DLH, Mosley and Winky at 154. If he doesnt mind losing to all 4 of those men and being the 6th best than he can go for it. At 140, he'll have trouble with Hatoon, Mailgnaggi, and Judah. He'll probably never be the "MAN" again

    154Lbs should be his limit.
He would be too small above that weightclass, IMO

I don't know that much about his out of ring lifestyle - is he a bit 'Hatton-like'?
