Dude is too short. If he goes up to 154 so many guys are gonna pick him apart.

i don't think too many will because above welter it's pretty slim pickings. but i agree with you on principle.

Cannot compare Cotto to other boxers (like Pacquaio) . . . "other's medicine is poison to others"

I'll say 147 is his best weight . . . if he moves up one more to 154 he'll encounter more difficulties.

    154. He's only 5'7 I think. Too short for anything above 154.

I'd like to see Cotto's comeback fight be against Winky at 154.

yea I think 154 is goin to be it. Even as a cotto fan, being realistic, i don't think he can get anymore success at 154 more than he already has had at previous weight classes. It's sad to say but, IT IS HIS HEIGHT that holds him back :-( As for him fighting winky, that would be a very tough and interestin fight

That fight would be the defintion of "EXPOSED"

i dont' know. if any indication, it would be the margo fight. at 154 he would of fought guys as big or bigger than him. 147 could be his limit. doesn't mean he cannot be a great fighter anymore.

He would have to learn how to deal/fight with guys taller than him that either have the same or more punching power than him(i.e. cotto-margarito) and from the looks of it as of right now, he's got a long way to go, so a winky fight would put him in another ****ed up situation.

Are you on crack???? Pacquiao was 16y/o on his firs pro fight. If you are going to go by that I can tell you one thing. Cotto fought Ivan Calderon as amateur

I agre with you on that 1. if he fought delahoya , delahoya wouldve probably made him fight at 150 which is above welter, so I think he could win a couple fights at 154, but 147 is the weight he needs 2 stay at

Well he aint gonna learn in this fight. Only thing he'll learn in this fight is that this fight would be very similar to him fighting PBF.
