WBC officially recognizing unification with WBA and IBF now apparently. WBO still out in the cold, since they snubbed the WBC summit with other orgs. The orgs finally seem to be working out a system amongst themselves where they encourage unification and one uber-lineal champ per division, and the various org belts determine the worthy challengers to the champ. This way each org still has their belts, and sanctioning fees, and mandatories.. but are encouraged to unify. Which makes sens,e because not only do the fans want it but big unifications make for bigger purses and bigger sanctioning fees. Its really the kind of no-brainer people have been on about for a long time, and they are finally starting to move in that direction.
His Team said Alfred E. Neuman GGG isn't on the same calibre he still needs to earn that level. And you're saying he knows his limitations that he cannot beat Alfred Neuman!!! I suppose he will prove you wrong again as in the Martinez fight!!!
For Miguel I think GGG would be a good solid SD. GGG can really box and punch but Miguel hasn't looked this good since 140lbs...
Not on the same calibre? Need to earn it? Better be about drawing power and not boxing skills... if it's about drawing power and Cotto fights Andy Lee in December, he'll have all 12 eggs on his face right there. Martinez is a cripple. Deal with it. :deal
