cotto needs a new trainer asap!!

    if he wants to beat the best fighter in the world,he needs one of the best trainers.imo if he wouldve got a great trainer before the clottey fight it wouldnt have been as close as it was.so if he goes into the pac fight with his trainer now i don't see him going past the sixth with pac

    A new trainer for one fight won't change anything, that's the way he fights, if they want to add some improvements then try to improve his defense though highly unlikely at this stage.

    yeah thats true but with a new trainer he might be able to increase his speed because if he fights pac with the kind of speed he used against clottey,he wont hit him.he looked really slow against clottey imo

    Pretty much hit it on the head and he isn't changing anything....he said he is pleased with his corner.... yesterday in EL Nuevo Dia !!!!

    He should at least try to get a new trainer. I'm sure he's going to get a good chunk of change for this fight, he should invest some of it in a good trainer who can at least help him formulate a good game plan. Nacho has three fights against Pac - albeit not very successful, he may be the best candidate for the job.

    The fight is far enough away to where I think it can make a difference. Remember, the fight is scheduled for November because of all of Pac's prior arrangements. He has like 2 movies to wrap up and is going to prepare for politics. If anything, he will be the one whose mind is not fully on the fight because of everything else going on in his life. This can turn out to be a big advantage for Cotto.

    I could see steward being good for cotto, if its just for this fight.....a defensive minded guy, might help cotto.........

    he could always hit the body bag with billy graham:lol:.....but on a serious note, i think cotto should stay with his corner the way it is....

    I dont thin there is any point really. he's not gona change in one camp. i think it would take atleast 2 camps to get comfortable with a new trainer.
