ok it was a fantasy pick OMG im sure i know more of cotto than you and im not a cotto fan only im a boxing fan.
maybe i was harsh, but Mayweather would be an awful pick.... just their personalties alone are complete opposites.....
yeah and i agree with you I cannot imagine Cotto working with him, its not his style of training, boxing, or working out and personalities are completely opposite
If I had to pick a trainer for Cotto right now it would be Ronnie Shields. he'd help Cotto tighten up that defense of his and he'd also teach Miguel how to better work off that great jab of his.
yup, shields, mustafa muhammad and dan birmingham would all be great picks, freddie roach would be even better.
He is so vulnerable to the uppercuts. Seems that his new trainer didn't emphatise how to avoid this on training and on fight night.
:deal you know how awesome the fight would have been if cotto wouldent of had the cut that **** really botherd him i have even more respect for him for being a good sport and going all 12 rounds
Is it opposite day again? Cottos new trainer was saying all the RIGHT things to him between rounds. From there its up to Cotto to execute which he didnt. Cotto would get Clottey on the ropes hit em twice then let him out. This happened all damn night. In between rounds Cottos trainer said "Once you get him in the corner DON'T let him out and use the uppercut when you have him cornered". Both of those things Cotto failed to do which made the fight much closer than it should've been.
That I Do Agree With You He Was Saying to Stay Off The Ropes And What Not But WHat I Do Believe He Needs Is A Better Trainer In The Gym r Just Another Trainer For A New Breather Of Fresh Air
You can't blame his trainer, if you look at the beginning of the fight Cotto was looking fantastic, but of course the cut. Give Cotto one more fight and then we can talk
