That's what they said about DLH too and before people jump on me about how DLH is shot please show your posts before the fight and how almost EVERYONE claimed DLH KOs Pac in a "circus" fight. :D

If shane had pac's foot speed he would have beat cotto by UD.

I think pac has a bigger chance of beating cotto than floyd due to style. But by fighting cotto he also has a bigger chance of getting KTFO.

Imagine Manny Pacquiao of yesterday against the Miguel Cotto of the Ricardo Torres fight at 140lb.

Manny can beat Miguel Cotto at 147lb, although I wouldn't favor him. The thing is though, he just needs to push himself now and knowing Manny, that is the only option for him. He has an opportunity whilst his at the peak of his powers to make the most of it. Fighting Mosley is suicide in my judgment, but Cotto has shown vulnerabilities recently.

    exactly.

Yea right, JUst give the guy credit. After running over De La Hoya and Hatton there is no way Cotto is KNOCKING OUT MANNY. MANNY has never been stopped by a head shot!!! Chin to good!! PLUS, COTTO in my view could not stop De La Hoya or Hatton. Maybe win but not stop! All I know is Manny has been on an Elite fighter destruction mission and the last thing I remmember from Cotto is getting severly knocked out and the beatin a NOBODY SOFT SAFE Boxer!! So just admit when you see somethin great. He is greater than COTTO. SEE THERE PERFORMANCES!!

I'm not buying this. Mayweather has got to logically be the target. Roach will be pushing for Mayweather which means behind the scenes so will Pac.

valero is a waste of time for pac. He only has 1 or 2 more fights left before he retires.

i see arum is already starting the negotiations for a pac-floyd fight. he's using a possible pac-cotto fight as a gambit to be in a good bargaining position in negotiations with pbf especially with regards to the purse split. a negotiation ploy for arum so as to apparently show that they are not interested in pbf for pac's next fight although in reality that is really the fight they want.

as for cotto, i have learned too much already that pac is capable of anything so you can't count him out of any fight. nobody ever considered that pac can KO hatton with one punch within 2 rounds but he did it.

    I disagree.

Miguel Cotto gets so much leverage on his shots, and he also maintains a very high skill level throughout, that he would have both the technique and power behind it to stop Manny Pacquiao at 147lb. Whether he does it is a completely different story, but there's no doubt in my mind that Manny would go down from a number of perfectly executed right hand.

I think Arum is trying to sell out Pac. He knows Pac probably has 1 or 2 more fights left at most, Cotto is in the middle of his career. I think he thinks Cotto will beat Pac, turn Cotto into a superstar and there is his next cash cow.

That said, bring it on, Pac will give him hell. Id prefer PBF-Pac though.

Yes I am in total agreement! They love to talk and make up excuses, don't they! I mean just deal with it. Cotto was knocked out too! along with Hatton and De La Hoya. WAS MANNY KNOCKED OUT?!! NO so lets just let actions speak louder than words here. I can not belive after what Manny did to Hatton that people are saying fighters NOT EVEN ON THE P4P LIST (COTTO) would beat him. What evidence is there of that? Cotto getting knocked out by Margirito? People need to throw that stupid size crap excuse out the window!! De La Hoya is bigger than Cotto!! Stopped! De La Hoya was not shot just out classed along with hatton. CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE>

I agree with this. Pac has showed time and again that fighters who live and die off the left hand have no answer to the puzzle. They don't trouble him at all. I think the size advantage won't be enough for Cotto to beat Pac.

Meanwhile, Floyd's bread and butter is the straight right hand. Even Oscar landed it on the button at some point. Its gonna trouble Pac for sure.

On the flip side, Floyd's defense is easier to penetrate for a southpaw. Zab was timing him and even knocked him down with a counter right hook, which Pac obviously can throw beautifully.

Its gonna be a great fight.

Mosley IMO too slow on his feet for Pac at this point in his career, Pac by UD.

JMM and PBF just might have a better shot at beating Pac than Cotto and Mosley.

Anybody would go down from perfectly executed shots guy!! (SEE MARGICHEATO vs MOSLEY) The point is you see anybody landin those shots? Cotto does'nt, in my humble opinion, have the SPEED, nor the SKILL over Pac Man to Accomplish said feat. DO YOU HONESTLY think Manny vs Cotto would look like Cotto vs Jennings? ACTIONS speak.
