Cotto next for Pacquiao – Arum

I agree that Arum is scandalous. Sticking up for Margirito after his atrocity speaks for itself if you ask me. Lets not punish Pac though just cause he has a evil promoter. On the other hand, all promoters go EVIL.

 

Hatton lost to Collazo, I don't care what those crooked judges wrote, everyone who saw the fight knows this. As for what Manny did last night, any elite boxer would have done the same thing, Hatton fought like his class dictated.

Mosley knocking Collazo out or not knocking him out is irrevelent to our discussion. Collazo beating Berto is also irrevlevant even though I agree and beleve he did win the fight.

Pacman, can not beat any gatekeeper on up WW, period. Pacman would have a extremely hard time beating Collazo, Margarito (if he wan't banned), Clottey, Cintron, Williams, Mosley, and Cotto. The only WW that Pacman would have a good shot at beating would be Berto.

Also lets remmember that even fast MOSLEY had slowed down a bit speed wise when he fought Cotto and that fight could have gone either way IMO. With that said Shane is'nt as fast MANNY. Manny's speed and right uppercut would be key 2 victory. I see Cotto suspetible to that.

 

But manny also swings wild too, which Mosley doesn't.

 

Hatton, Callazo was up for discussion and you don't make the P4P list by being a low class fighter. I dont care what anyone says either! Losing 2 PBF does'nt make you a lower class fighter. I disagree now. He swang wild in the Barrera, morales era. His puches are not wild IMO they are spotted and placed (SEE HATTON KNOCKOUT) His technique has improved dramatically scince the last JMM fight. IM Humble O.

 

Cotto has more dimensions to his game than Hatton. I expect Cotto to beat Pacman if they fought. But weight would be a big issue. Cotto isnt making 140. And if he did, he would be a dead man walking.

 

Swinging wildly against a straight puncher with good accuracy is not a good move. Thats spells disaster.

 

He has cleaned up, but he is still wild. Just because you knock someone out doesn't mean you don't swing wild.

 

Believe what you want, Hatton is a club fighter who duped all his fans into believing he was more than that. They actually believed the guy was world class material.

 

Shane is still pretty fast and is a bigger puncher then Manny. Cotto still took those shots very well. Can Manny hurt Cotto, that the key to Manny winning. I can see Cotto hurting Manny though seeing how Manny was dropped four times vs Marquez at the lower weights. Also this fight wont be at 140. It would have to be at 147. Is so, then I expect Cotto to be somewehre around 154 on fight night. He will simply be to big for Manny.

 

pac is a very accurate puncher. even when he seems to swing wild with his right hook, he still hits the target. his left though is much more accurate, straight, more deliberate and measured when he throws it. even when he threw his KO punch of hatton (left hook), pac was still very balanced and measured although he had his full weight behind it.

 

**** Cotto if arum wants these two to fight so much then make Cotto come down to 140.Manny dosent have to jump up weights to fight anyone if he dosent want 2. Hes the P4P No.1. People want to fight him they jump up or come down in weight.

 

I truly believe that Cotto would demolish Manny. Manny is a beast, but Cotto is a beast + a dozen extra pounds on fight night.
