Calm down Gay man, using his own words, he is asking for Cotto to defend his title against someone who he knows he will not win against. Nothing should come above the factor of competition in sports...nothing, so if you're asking for something even you believe is uncompetitive then your an idiot or simply hating, and no argument of weight class, respect for belts etc. is gonna save you from that labeling, as entertainment through competition is the entire purpose of sports...

That was after the negotiations were ordered to begin, it always comes down to a forced situation.

I have lost all respect for Miguel Cotto. His diva-like demands during the negotiations for the Martinez fight really ****ed me off. Now since he won the championship he's been acting like even more of a prima donna. If he isn't going to defend his title against the best the division has to offer, he should vacate.

Martinez had said all kinds of disrespectful things about Miguel in the years proceeding their fight. I'm not surprised Cotto had treated him like that in the negotiations. It was no secret Martinez did not like Cotto.

Not many top guys are seeking out Golovkin. Too risky. He's becoming a name but at the moment his drawing power isn't at the level where he can appeal to the bigger names where they are willing to take a chance.
