Cotto not willing to DIE.

What went on in that exchange?
Margaret kept laughing with that cheezy smirk and the other chick to the left kept staring at him like he was on something!!!

 

He was being told that he is a disgrace to boxing and an embarrasment to Mexican people.

 

People are making way too much out of this "die in the Ring" Bull****. Margarito explained during his media-workout that he feels that by simply stepping in the ring you are at risk of death, and thats why he doesnt understand why miguel says that its just a job.

 

In that case, Margarito must understand or believe that Cotto is implicitly willing to risk the same thing.

 

I'm sure his life is more important to him than winning a fight lol whatever disadvantage that gives him.

He also said that if he himself believed his eye or health was at risk, he would not step in the ring. So the whole "willing to die" has simply just been thrown around and generally taken out of context.

 

Marquez also talked about he was willing to die in the ring for his 24 7 with Mayweather

Looks to me like one man has more reasons to win and LIVE. Prisons and cemeteries are full of people who just dont give a ****.

 

I know that it sounds very noble to be willing to die and all.
But Cotto to me already shown he is willing to take a hellacious beating vs Margo and Pac after.

**** willing to die, id rather have these great warriors chillout with plenty of money in the bank, a loving family and their brains intact to enjoy it with when they get old.

things i'm thinking about for this fight.

1. is margarito the same fighter who fought cotto the first time, and can he fight well at 154?

2. is cotto a better fighter now than in his fight against margarito the first time around?

3. did margarito use loaded wraps the first time around, and if so, will the absence of plaster prove to be a deciding factor this time around?

4. cotto's stamina?

cotto's lost his father and has a family to attend to, which should be more important than boxing to anyone. in a fight though, margarito being willing to go all the way seems like it would make a difference in a war, because theoretically margarito would be willing to push himself further than cotto.
