    "Don't let him think. "

I say to Cotto GOODLUCK! The best way to beat Floyd is to poison his food before fight. Floyd is the Kasparov of boxing. He's always 5 or more steps ahead of you. He's a genius inside the ring but a moron outside of it.

Chavez tried that, but Floyd's trained reflexes kicked in and picked him apart

    Honestly, he's right.

If you end up in a pot-shotting contest, you'll lose badly against Floyd. With that being said, Floyd is one hell of a fighter, but he's a better boxer than a fighter IMO.

There is not one fighter in the sport of boxing better than Floyd at pot-shotting.

The way the announcers were suckin chavez's dick in this fight was pathetic. I mean dude had his moments but floyd would get the best of him in every exchange.

Cotto got the right at idea. If you let Floyd think he will outbox easy which is why everyone uses the swarm method for the first 3 rounds and then after getting countered so many times they just shut down and give up. The trend of recent Floyd fights. that Oritz fight was wild though.

If I'm Cotto if hire someone pay him $200,000.00 to poison Floyd's food before the fight. Make him vomit and go to the restroom until he's dehydrated. Then victory will be in sight.

He's right. If you're short and not a better boxer from range than Mayweather, you can't let him think. Pressure him behind a jab. Give him different looks. Throw combinations on the inside and back off at times. Keep him guessing. Whether or not Cotto can do this without eating uppercuts and right hands every 10 seconds is another story. We'll see on May 5th.

Maybe you should be fighting Floyd, you seem to know more than Cotto does.

If Cotto thinks going forward and swarming Mayweather is going to work, he's going to end up on the canvas just like in the Pacquiao fight.

He is right, but you have to have the size, power, and stamina to make it meaningful. I don't think Cotto has enough of an advantage in any of those categories to make pressure work.

Also, we can't forget Mayweather's increased power with his training and these Grant gloves. He is regularly stunning and swelling guys up now. Cotto has fairly weak skin.

I can't wait for the fight. :bbb

Cotto no longer has the aggressiveness, stamina, and overall fire to create a fight where Mayweather is prevented from being able to think.

Cotto needs to make it an ugly fight and use his size advantage to the max. He needs to be all over Mayweather, get close, hold, push and keep throwing to the chest, shoulders and any opening he finds. That's the only way to seriously trouble Mayweather, if he stands there and tries to box he's going to lose royally. He needs to be the aggressor all the way, if he runs out of gas applying that style then he's going to lose easily. Mayweather doesn't have the aggressive style, nor the power to tire/trouble Cotto, Cotto's main problem are consistent aggressive opponents(without loaded gloves) that will exhaust him as rounds go. Cotto has a good shot here if he's able to apply a proper style.
