Cotto on radio show just said he's rooting for....

I think he is really wanting that rematch with him

 

Thats kind of bizarre, considering he was gracious in defeat against Manny. Well, wouldn't say he was anything other than gracious against Margarito in his loss, he took his loss like a man, reminded me of Floyd Patterson after losing to Ingemar Johansson, he just walked off and trained harder.

 

I would love to see a rematch...

 

He probably wants a re-match to see if Marg can beat him fair-and-square. There has to be some doubt in his head about their first fight, so it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to do it again.

If I am Cotto, I would root for Margo too. I also wouldn't be surprised if Floyd is praying for Margo beat Pacquiao.

 

Probably cause he wants a rematch and he probably thinks he has a better chance against Margo.

I'm not surprised!! Cotto was very competitive in the first 9 rounds before he took a terrible beating from (plastered) Margo, but against Pac he was competitive only in the first and the second round untill he was dropped. In a rematch Cotto would give himself a better chance against Margo than against Pac

So he's rooting Margo, not because he likes him, but because he would fare better against him in a rematch

 

Thats the thing with Cotto, drama and **** like that don't even enter his register, he just ignores it and carries himself like a real man.
Wherever Cotto is going with his career, he'll always have my 100% support, even rooted for him against Pacquiao, well.. rooted for him in all his fights.

 

wish it was cotto/margo II this saturday. would've made lots of hype and a chance for either man to redeem themseleves. they would've prolly also made more money out of that than their respective fights against pac.
