Cotto can't do anything different or better than what he did vs Margarito.

With Pac, he can change his game plan easy...nt saying there would eb a different result, but he can atleast try different things.

margarito beat Cotto when Cotto was at his best. no catchweight, no messy training camp, no traumatizing, etc

 

As people have said, it's only because he wants the rematch and it makes it more likely in his eyes if Margarito wins. I'm sure if he was told by Arum that whatever happens, they won't be rematching, he'd be wanting Pacquiao to put a beatdown on him.

I wouldn't want to see Cotto in the ring with either Margarito or Pacman. He was beaten pretty badly in both fights, and a rematch would just be the same thing all over again. I am not sure what would be accomplished with him fighting them again.

Since that Cotto was never the same. The beating was so bad Cotto had to quit. Cotto left something in the ring that night.

damn, Margarito was LITERALLY jogging after Cotto and smiled when Cotto gave his best punches it was crazy. Mragarito looked like having great time.
