COTTO or Margarito ??

i've pick cotto but this fight is going to be so closeeeeee that if it endz up being a draw i won't be suprised

 

i picked cotto too but hes gotta stick and move like a mutha****a. but at the same time his shorter arms and power shots to the body will help him against margo who is best on the inside

 

I like Cotto to win this, but I won't be shocked if Margarito gets the win. Tony is a hell of a fighter and matches up well with Cotto.

 

i agree. margarito is an incredible fighter who i admire deeply. at the same time cotto has done his best when everyone thinks he is gonna get beat. His three best performances: Quintana, Judah and Mosley were all against opponents that were supposed to beat him. Margarito does not have such a strong history and despite his AWESOME chin has no doubt been a little bit softened up by cintron.

 

Tony's biggest plus in this fight is his size and reach advantage. He's much bigger and taller than Cotto. That said, I agree with you. It's hard to bet against Cotto these days.

 

Already, somebody has to pick Margarito. Margarito's height and reach advantage, his workrate and his indestructible chin will be too much for Cotto to overcome. Margarito by TKO, round 9.

 

Margarito is not in Cotto's league any more in terms of talent and skills but I still like Margarito to upset Cotto and most fans in an unbelievable fight (TKO 11 Margarito)

If this fight goes 8 or more rounds its gonna be awesome---then I'de expect drama--Cotto being floored maybe twice but surviving and regaining an edge by switchhitting,fighting off the backfoot,using the ring,and all of his skills to frustrate Antonio---this is what the fans want----could be over in 2 or fight of the year---Cotto by UD--love them both!!!!:smoke :smoke

 

To everyones surprise.. I think Cotto will win this easily... Its one of those fights where aftwards you say "I can't believe I even thought Margo had a chance"...

 

BTW... Cotto almost always is at a disadvantage in terms of reach. He is a small WW.

 

And 90% of the ones that picked Margarito will either deny it or disappear, see the Hatton/Mayweather thread as an excellent example you'll see on the forum 1 month after the fight is over with.

 

I think cotto will pull one out of the bag
