Cotto PROVED last night that Margarito didn't ruin him.

Oh please, Margarito is a slow, plodding fighter if there ever was one. I wouldn't put much weight if someone looks quick and elusive against someone as slow as he is.

 

Not with the way Cotto was running away from him. Manny isn't one to showboat in any form or fashion, and even he expressed blatant disappointment with Cotto's retreat tactics, on multiple occasions. Incredibly tough my ****ing ass.. Pacquiao is incredibly tough. That's what tough is.

And those pics showed what? Some gauze coming out of his wraps that came loose or tore? A red or slightly pinkish color? Could have been from the glove. Nothing was proven.

IF, Margarito did use some illegal pad in the Cotto fight or used plaster, it is a very dispicable and cowardly act. However, nothing was proven. It's innocent until proven guilty. At least in the Cotto fight. We all know what happened in the Mosley fight.

 

Cotto has to rebuild himself...I think he tried too hard to be this all around multi dimensional boxer and lost his dominant strength...that relentless body puncher with the devastating left hook we grew to love and know.

One thing is for sure.
Every Cotto is ****ing exciting and will keep you standing, win or lose.

 

Cotto hasn't been the same since the Margo fight because Margo walked through his best shots, beat him down and stole his confidence. Margo's pig iron chin, relentless pressure and stamina had everything to do with that result.

It hasn't been proven that Margo had loaded gloves when he fought Cotto, and given that the NSAC is a much more professional outfit than the CSAC, and the fact that Pac cut Cotto up just as bad (if not worse) as Margo did, I give Margo the benefit of the doubt.
