Who said I love GGG fights? I've said countless times I'd prefer GGG fight top opposition, but they won't fight him will they?

His next is a MANDATORY d***head, shouldn't you be smart enough to know what that means, how can you be unified champ if you drop belts left and right.

Canelo should be a 150/1 favorite against Khan.

And you're the guy that had a long argument with someone for saying Murray was a stiff test for GGG, because you thought they were saying Murray was a stiff. And you call me a clown.:rofl

It'll probably take place at 148-49... As far as the fight goes, Cotto would have to utilize his boxing skills to best Provo as it seems that Provo has serious problems with fighters who can move well. If Cotto gets brave, it would be a bad night where I can see the relentlessness of Provo wearing Cotto down and Provo getting a late stoppage. It's a good fight I wouldn't be opposed to.

Oh there will be a catchweight for sure....... as much as Provodnikov is fun to watch there's a difference in class. Unless Cotto suddenly turns 50 overnight I don't see him losing. Would be nice though, I can't stand the little diva.

Cotto by wide decision...maybe late stop. Don't think Cotto will ever fight @ 147 again.

Didn't read much other than the title of the op.

If this fight is at 147, Cotto can deff win, buy my gut/heart say no matter what weight, Provo will make Cotto brutally earn any success he may have come fight night.

    Cotto Tko 11 Provo

Honestly, I am not confident at all in my pick currently, leaning towards Cotto's ridiculous experience as the edge.

I would love nothing more than to see Provodnikov beat Cotto.

No they won't fight someone that's content on devouring overly matched bums his entire career. If you were a big name that earned that spot taking actual risks, would you give someone that wants a payday a free one for simply barking through social media?. Didn't Alvarez have to go through Trout(who beat Cotto) to gain Mayweather's attention?. Didn't he accept Mayweather's Catchweight demand to make the fight?. Didn't Pacquiao constantly move up in weight to force big fights and took major risks in the process?. Didn't Cotto, Mayweather, Hopkins, RJJ...etc all do the same?. Or did they simply bark through articles to gain their spots?.

Mandatory my ass. What did he do to become his mandatory?, have you even asked your pathetic idiotic self that question?. His next fight is yet another farce which is why he's yet again exploding into the arena to the roars of idiots like you as a 150/1 favorite.

No, Alvarez shouldn't be a 150/1 favorite, which is why the bookies disagree. Golovkin on the other hand, should. Do you even know anything about actual money?, simple minded loser.

Yes, and I stand by it. Murray wasn't exactly a stiff. He was the one and only decent fight GGG has on his record. Does that plummet GGG to super s****om?, obviously not.

I would be surprised to see Cotto go below 150 for this fight if it happens. He hasn't been 150 or lower since the Pacquaio fight.

If this fight happens, and Cotto doesn't have to go all the way down to 147, then I think he is a big favorite.

It would be one of those one sided but still fun type of fights. Cotto is simply on a different level than Provodnikov and wins a wide decision, maybe even a late stoppage.

Tureano was the mandatory, he got injured Wade was second in line.

I excelled in Economics in school and college, I probably know a f*** of a lot more than you.

You're still so dense that you don't get the joke with Murray.

He wasn't calling Murray a stiff, he said he was a stiff test, which means tough test.:patsch

    Yep! :good

That doesn't greatly impact my point, as I still think Cotto's the better overall boxer, and Cotto has always been a bit smarter than Bradley inside the squared circle. At least he was pre-firemen.

I had forgotten about that. And I would have known earlier had those guys running BR not gotten rid of the weights.

But Timmy is a guy who spent a lot of time at 140 himself, and in his fights north of there, he's mostly fought other guys who themselves never were truly full fledged welters.

All of this said, I'd be surprised still if this actually happens south of 154. Cotto SHOULD know better, as should Roach.
