Cotto quit.

    And this pretty much sums it up. Good post. Its sounds like dissing him, but I aint. Just saying he quit.

    True.Just like when you underestimate someone just because they look weak or they seem frail but then they unload on you and your like "whoa,wtf ...where did he get all that power from"?
    i dont knock people for not relating but when i read comments that make no sense i have to remind myself that alot of posters just never had an in ring experience.

    yeah, all Ive ever done was sparr and work out at a local gym. no tourneys or anything. but even sparring, especially the first time. I was so nervous I got winded like half way through the round..

    SUGE ,thats all good and **** but you and i know that the word "quit" being used by these posters to discribe COTTO is merely being used to downgrade his performance and used to bash him~good ish though

    Quitting is just choosing to not fight anymore. Cotto made that choice. He gave it his best, he had nothing left, so he chose to stop fighting. That's quitting.

    ...well f*ck I don't know about that...because you've already tried to climb up in my ass over it, and I haven't got one derogatory thing to say about Miguel.

    He quit, but he was finished...so it's O.K., I'm not mad at him.

    No. I only say that Cotto quit because by the definition of the word he did, in fact, quit. I have nothing but respect for Cotto, and he's one of my favorite fighters, but he did choose to cease fighting.
