I think cotto help boxing in a way... very humble even after his lost, never went overboard and even learn to speak English... he helps the sport of boxing... I think its fair this time for him to choose were to fight since the fight already took place in las vegas(west coast)... its not like the people are going to fight for him once hes in the ring, its just him and margarito... its the least arum could do for him if cotto request it... and just for a FYI the Mexican population in New York has become one of the fastest growing (top 3) in the last ten years in the state, just thought I could share that with you...

Quintana is in Puerto Rico pumping gas, is coming off a devastating loss, and wants to take time off. Cintron is also coming off a devastating loss and is also with Di Bella. Why would Di Bella match his reclamation project with his rising young star? Maybe he should've pulled Golden Johnson off the scrap heap. :admin

and the prize goes to the biggest cotto hater "BigReg"... I know what his next post would most likely be... cotto is a twice paper champ, he only fights for vacant titles:lol:

For a guy who call himself the truth, you don't seem to enjoy the truth very much. Cotto's first title defense was against Randall Bailey, and Cotto does have two paper titles to his name. Did I miss something? Did Cotto beat a beltholder at any time during his career?

Williams is fighting at middle weight in September, the same time as Berto is fighting on HBO. Also, Williams had been chasing Margo when Berto's fight was set.:admin

Margarito had a fight scheduled already before the offer was made. Williams was sitting on his ass with nothing to do and they could of made the fight. Try again. :D

Margo was offered a fight for either this Nov. or early 2009. Margo's next opponent still isn't set(although it will probably be Cotto). Meanwhile, after getting ignored by Margo, Williams is now set to fight in September and November.:admin :admin :admin
